Terms and Conditions

Syed Driver Training agrees to provide driver training at the prices published in the current price list, a copy of which is available on request, subject to the terms and conditions as detailed below. You will be expected to confirm your acceptance of these by signing a hard-copy of the terms and conditions at the beginning of the lesson which may include more terms and conditions.

General

• At least 24 hours notice must be given by you if there is a need to cancel or re-arrange a lesson. Failure to give this notice will result in a valid claim for an equivalent value in compensation.
• We cannot be held liable for any consequential costs due to vehicle light failure during any tests, since these will be checked by you and your instructor during the pre-test lesson.
• Your instructor has the right to refuse to undertake a lesson if he feels that you are unfit to drive due to ill health, alcohol or drug-related conditions. In the event full fees will be charged.
• We cannot be held responsible for driving tests cancelled at short notice due to either weather conditions or the Driving Standards Agency. Should this occur full fees will be charged.
• All lesson fees must be paid when requested by your instructor at the start of lesson. If you do not have the required funds for the lesson please get in touch with the instructor before he turns up - no credit is offered.
• We reserve the right to refuse the use of training vehicle for the purpose of a test if you have not achieved the required driving standard.
• Training Vehicle will be kept to a high working standard, however should there be a mechanical fault or any other difficulty outside the control of the Instructor, the Instructor reserves the right to reschedule the lesson at short notice.

Block-Booking Contracts

In addition to the General terms and conditions, the following conditions apply to block-bookings:

• Block-booking fees must be paid in full on the first lesson and are non-refundable.
• If lessons have not been booked for a period of 21 days, without the agreement of your instructor, then the course will be deemed complete and no monies will be refunded.

Intensive and Residential Contracts

In addition to the General terms and conditions, the following conditions apply to intensive and residential courses:

• A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required when booking a course.
• The course fee balance is to be paid one week before the course commences.
• We reserve the right to cancel your course if payment is not received as above.
• We reserve the right to refuse the use of training vehicles for the purpose of a test if you have not achieved the required driving standard.
• We can assist with hotel accommodation; however, all bills are to be settled directly in accordance with the hotel's requirements.
